| Body | From http://linguistlist.org/issues/23/23-3170.html IRIS - the new database of instruments and materials used to collect data in second language research - is now available at http://www.iris-database.org Researchers can upload and download materials used in published L2 research and in approved PhD theses, from all theoretical and methodological perspectives. The database is searchable by author, research area, instrument type, L1, L2, target feature, amongst many other parameters. A few examples of data collection materials are: interview protocols, language tests, observation schedules, pictures, questionnaires, software scripts, sound files, teaching intervention tasks, word lists, but there are many other possibilities.
