Experience Requirements: Three years public school teaching experience at the elementary level; technology and willingness to develop on-line courses, experience with field-based courses; experience writing and administering grants. Significant training and experience in early childhood education. Environment: Sam Houston State is located in historic Huntsville, one quarter of the way from Houston to Dallas, and at the boundary between the Piney Woods region of East Texas and the Prairies and Lakes region of Central Texas. The university has an enrollment of approximately 13,000 and a faculty of 500. Usual Duties: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, administer federal grants, advisement; program, college and university committee work.
