TitleNational French Test changes
Body
The test booklets for 2004 are being graded right now. What makes this
year's Grand Concours different from previous years?

CDs were used instead of cassettes.
Levels 01, 1, and 2 had 70 questions. Levels 3, 4, and 5 had 60 questions.
(There were previously 80 at all levels.)
The sound discrimination "chien, sien, tien, bien" were removed in levels 01
and 1. In order to offer more context to the students during the audio
assessment, the format of the rejoinders were a mini conversation.
All culture questions at end of assessments were deleted, and grammar and
vocabulary were assessed in context.
More culture will be infused in the readings.
