The Sweetwater Union High School District is pursuing a plan to bring hundreds of Chinese students to study at a middle school and high school campus in an ambitious program that could be launched as early as next school year.

Superintendent Ed Brand recently met with an education official from China’s Guangdong Province who had expressed interest in bringing students to the United States to live and study.
