Title | Bilingual Education is Focus of Teachers' Group |
Body | From: OELA Newsline http://www.enquirer.com/editions/2004/03/05/loc_bilingual05.html Anna Guido reports in the Cincinnati Enquirer on the formation of a Tristate group, the Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana Association for Bilingual Education, to assist the large influx of Spanish-speaking children. The group, which promotes biculturalism and bilingualism in education, not only focuses on the education of its students, but its teachers as well. In the near future, it will hold a public meeting in the Teachers College at the University of Cincinnati to speak with community and school members.
