| Body | From http://nalrc.wisc.edu/news-a-update A Second Language Acquisition Certificate Program for African Language Instructors Date: May 21st - June 1st 2012 As interest in African language learning and teaching increases, so does the need to prepare graduate students, teaching assistants who are planning to pursue African language teaching as a profession and faculty members in the field who need retooling. The 2012 Summer Institute has been designed to help meet this need. It will train fellows in a number of crucial areas central to the effective operation of an African Language Program Applicants should submit a letter of application and supporting documents for the 2012 Summer Institute by September 30, 2011.
