| Body | From: moretprs@yahoogroups.com Spring Lake High School is in search of a Spanish teacher who is either a TPRS teacher or willing to "convert". Subjects: Span 1, 2, 3. Link: http://www.spring-lake.k12.mi.us/High/default.htm Requirements: *Spanish Major, with a minor in a core subject (English, Math, Science, Social studies) *Teaching License/Certificate Spanish Teacher-Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Spanish, valid Michigan Secondary Teaching Certificate with the appropriate endorsement, and meet Michigan's 'Highly Qualified' criteria. Deadline-March 26, 2004 Starting Date-September 7, 2004 We are a TPRS/Second Language Acquisition department that has been building one of the top "programs" in West Michigan. Our vision is to continue building a program through TPRS/SLA. We have a rather close faculty and very supportive of each other. The administration and faculty are collegial and work very well together. The faculty is respected and treated as professionals. We teach Spanish, French and Latin at SLHS. ยท Spring Lake is a village situated next to the resort town of Grand Haven, Michigan. Grand Haven is located on beautiful Lake Michigan.
