| Title | New Resource from CLEAR: Video Dropboxes |
| Body | Announcing the beta release of Video Dropboxes, CLEAR's video recording tool, a new Rich Internet Application for Language Learning. http://ria.clear.msu.edu/videoDropbox This tool follows the same approach as Audio Dropboxes. A Video Dropbox can be placed on any web page. Students can use the Dropbox to record a video clip, which is instantly and automatically deposited into the teacher's Dropbox. Teachers can access the recordings at their convenience. The program is free for all educational, non-profit uses. Because the project is funded by a US Department of Education Title VI grant, the program will remain available and free as long as CLEAR's funding continues (we were recently funded through 2013). Two functions are not yet implemented: 1.A function to stop recording after a specified time limit has been reached, and 2.The ability to download recordings in MP4 format.
