The Fourteenth Mid-Atlantic Japanese Pedagogy Workshop

Gettysburg College will host the Fourteenth Mid-Atlantic
Japanese Pedagogy Workshop on Saturday, March 27 and
Sunday, March 28. The theme of the workshop this year is
"TELLing Japanese: Technology Enhanced Language
Learning." Our keynote speaker will be Professor Yasuhiro
Omoto of UC Berkeley (Title TBA). More information about the

Gettysburg College has a brand-new Language Resource
Center, which comprises a drop-in area, a computer classroom,
enhanced classrooms, and a faculty development area. For
more information, please go to the web page above and click
"Computer Classroom" or "Enhanced Classrooms."

Please send a brief proposal (about 100 words) to me at
myonezaw@gettysburg.edu by Monday, February 16. Proposals
for workshops or demonstrations about uses of new (or
classical) technology in Japanese classes are welcomed.
Please include your name, affiliation, email address, as well as
the title of your workshop/demonstration, and specify equipment
needs in your proposal. We will contact you if we have further
questions. Notification of acceptance will be on or before March
1st, 2004.
