| Body | From http://cseas.berkeley.edu/VASI/index.html Vietnamese Advanced Summer Institute Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam June 13 - August 5, 2011 The Vietnamese Advanced Summer Institute (VASI) is an intensive course of advanced Vietnamese language study conducted for eight weeks at Vietnamese Language Studies in Ho Chi Minh City. This program is designed to provide intensive instruction in Vietnamese for students at the advanced or advanced intermediate level, and is considered to be the equivalent to a full year's academic work. The program focuses on language acquisition and consists of a structured academic program of four hours of language instruction every morning and optional individualized tutoring sessions in the afternoon.
