Title | Young Germany Marks Five Years |
Body | From http://www.germany.info/Vertretung/usa/en/__pr/GIC/2010/10/21__YoungGermany__PM.html Five years ago, on October 19, the English-language website Young Germany (YG) went online live at the Frankfurt Book Fair. YG - launched well before the social media age - has grown into an up-to-date, unique source of information and exchange for its users. YG was first designed to communicate about all things German in a new and original way to an increasingly global young generation. In its five years, YG has reported on everything from new career sectors to the latest innovations in science and technology, as well as Germans and German organizations worldwide engaged in interesting ways. Perhaps the greatest change for YG since 2005 is its use of social media. Beginning with just a simple forum for users to communicate on topics of interest to them, YG has evolved into a major interactive online community.
