| Body | From http://ncta.osu.edu/teaching_asia_seminars.html Teaching about Asia seminars are eleven-week programs for 6-12th grade teachers who wish to incorporate or enhance curriculum about East Asia in their classrooms. 2011 Seminar Format & Content This seminar will draw on a variety of formats (lecture, discussion, guest speakers and visual materials, among others) and address topics in East Asian history, language, education, ethics, science and technology, trade, art and media. The sessions will be conceived with the new Ohio Academic Standards in mind in order to contribute to the development of relevant K-12 curriculum tools.
