| Title | Deutsch-Tag - German Day in Miami, Florida |
| Body | From the American Association of Teachers of German listserv: --- It is my pleasure to invite the German teaching community close to the Miami area to our first Deutsch-Tag in Miami, FL, which will be held at TERRA Environmental Research Institute from 10am-4pm on Saturday, November 6. Thanks to the support of Petra Reuter, German Language Advisor, our area is organizing a day to showcase what a great choice the German language can be for students. We are extremely pleased to welcome Dr. Mohamed Esa to Miami, as well as Uwe Kind, who will be holding a concert for students in conjunction with this event. Local students will also be organizing Fun with German booths for all attendees. All members of the community are invited to attend, and we are asking everyone to please bring friends (or at least a friend) to the event.
