| Body | The Alliance Française of Portland is part of the worldwide network headquartered in Paris -- encompassing over rectification1,000 chapters in more than 130 countries, serving nearly a half million students. Our Paris headquarters has just issued a short informational report on spelling rules -- excerpted from earlier publications by the Académie française. This report revisits and recaps recommendations for specific cases of spelling, hyphenation, singular and plural forms of nous adapted from other languages, and agreement of past participles.
