The purpose of the 26th Linguistics Symposium is to discuss this impending loss to humankind from a multidisciplinary perspective. The organizers invite contributions for the assessment of this process from Linguistics, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Education, and related fields. Equally welcome is the participation of practitioners in language revitalization efforts.
