NewsNet NewsNet, the bimonthly newsletter, carries news of the profession and of the Association, notices of job opportunities as well as opportunities of support for research. A regular calendar of upcoming conferences, an annual listing of research in progress, and notices of members' publications keep readers informed of developments and current work in the field. ABSEES The American Bibliography of Slavic and East European Studies (ABSEES), a comprehensive reference guide to American books, articles, dissertations, and reviews in the field, is produced at the University of Illinois and appears in print and electronic format, with increasing emphasis on the latter. |
