The College Board is conducting a search for a Director of Curriculum and Content Development for APĀ® World Languages and Cultures. This position, based out of the New York or Atlanta office, provides leadership and direction for AP Spanish, French and Latin: Vergil courses, and is integral to managing continuous improvements in these subject areas.

Position Summary
The Director of Curriculum and Content Development for AP World Languages is responsible for preserving and improving the quality and validity of the AP Program's core deliverables: the course curriculum, the exam and the professional development content. To create these deliverables, the director must lead six to 10 committees of subject-matter experts, typically college professors and secondary school teachers, training them on curriculum and assessment development protocols, and translating between academics and technical experts (test developers and psychometricians). The director must present, speak and moderate dialogue with large academic and membership audiences to ensure that ongoing change and improvement within AP courses and exams is understood, accepted and supported.
