There is a new blog at the film’s website which describes itself as follows: In this blog we hope to explore the excitement and the controversy of immersion education and second language acquisition in children. We will write about research and politics, trends and tendencies. With guest bloggers and voices of experience throughout the language education community, we hope to stimulate conversation about this very important topic and to provide a forum for parents, teachers, students, administrators, politicians, psychologists and other experts in the field of early language acquisition to share their perspectives. The blog is available at http://speakingintonguesfilm.info/our-blog

There will be a screening of "Speaking In Tongues" next week at the NYSAFLT/NNELL Summer Institute at SUNY Oneonta in New York. The Summer Institute is from August 3-6 and there is still time to register. There is going to be a strand specifically for early language educators and also a general strand. You can go to http://www.nysaflt.org/conferences/summerinstitute/index.html for more information.
