| Body | From http://www.fas.harvard.edu/~aaass/organizations/wgr.html The American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies’ new Working Group on Russian Children’s Literature and Culture is a scholarly non-profit organization dedicated to fostering closer communication among scholars interested in Russian children’s literature, history of childhood, theater, cinema, popular media, education, and other aspects of children’s culture. Their mission is to facilitate the exchange of scholarly information and research through the organization of meetings and conferences, and to prepare scholarly works for publication. The group’s first meeting will take place at the AAASS National Convention in Los Angeles on November 19, 2010, at 1:15pm.
