Avant Assessment is developing a low level (ILR Level 1) assessment for students of Balochi. We need native speakers of that language to help with the collection of authentic written material to use in the development of this test.

If you participate in this project, you will work from your home on your own equipment. You must have access to the internet, preferably a high speed connection. You must be available for collaboration with Avant staff during US working hours.

We provide paid training via the internet to help you understand the
requirements and procedures you will follow. This is an excellent way to earn extra income from your home.

Avant Assessment is seeking speakers of Greek with experience in teaching and/or assessment to help in the production of a high level reading proficiency assessment in that language. The ideal candidate for this work will possess some or all of the following:
1) Native or near native ability with Greek
a. ILR Level 4 or higher
b. If not mother tongue, must have spent at least 4 years in Greece.
2) Theoretical and working knowledge of the ILR Scale
3) Test item writing experience in a professional assessment (non-classroom) setting
4) Good ability with English – ILR Level 3 or higher

This is a part time, telecommute position. You will be collaborating via internet and telephone with linguists and assessment professionals to develop test items from complex passages. You must have ready access to the internet, preferably a high speed connection, and you must be available to work during normal working hours in the USA - approximately 1500 GMT to 0200 GMT.

We will provide you with instruction and guidance from top people in the field of language assessment. You will be paid for all the time you spend working on this project, including training sessions, collaborating sessions, and independent work time.
