TitleNNELL-NYSAFLT Summer Institute
Body
This year the National Network for Early Language Learning is teaming up with the New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers and the New York State Education Department to provide a Summer Institute. We are offering a wide variety of workshops from which to choose – and we are sure our attendees will find them professionally enriching and challenging.

The theme for this year's Institute is "What's H.O.T. in LOTE: Higher Order Thinking Skills" As the theme suggests, our presenters will show us a variety of methods designed to build on the basics we all have mastered, and raise the bar for ourselves and for our students.

The NYSAFLT Summer Institute is a wonderful time to begin preparations for the upcoming school year. Bring a flash drive to save all of the wonderful materials you will create! The institute is from August 3 – 6 and you can earn 30 hours of professional development.

All registration materials are available online at http://www.nnell.org/2010site/finals/events.html or from NYSAFLT Headquarters: hq@nysaflt.org or (716) 836-3130.
