ARABIC LEARN CONFERENCE Sept 20-22, 2010 at WEST POINT
The Foreign Language Program Office of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the National Cryptologic School (NCS) are pleased to host a series of Language Education and Resources Network (LEARN) conferences.

The purpose of the LEARN conference series is to provide language professionals a venue to interact with their colleagues where they can discuss and explore issues related to the science and technology of foreign language education. The target audience for these conferences includes instructors, course developers, and other language professionals from U.S. government affiliated institutions.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Proposals should be related to the conference theme. Some suggested topics are listed below:

Technology-assisted language teaching and learning
Pedagogy of language instruction
Culture and language teaching
Curriculum, syllabus, and course design
Vocabulary and grammar instruction
Distance and blended learning
Evaluation, assessment, and testing
Language immersion
Professional development
Learning about learners (what works and what does not work)
Theoretical and applied linguistics

All proposals for presentations, must be submitted online by midnight EST on May 21, 2010 in the correct format.
