Radio host takes Swahili to the US

When Denzel Musumba left the country last year for America, he had no idea what was in store for him. But a few months later, he owns a fast growing online Swahili and English radio station, Trevor Records, based in Brooklyn New York. The show, Musumba says, focuses on social, political and economic issues especially facing Kenya. His biggest audience is the Kenyans in Diaspora for shows that broadcast daily from 6pm to 8pm America Eastern Time and 2am to 4 am in Kiswahili and English.
