| Title | Major German 2010 Advocacy Initiative by GLOW |
| Body | "Stand Up for Learning German!" by GLOW TV/Film Star Eric Braeden heads this 2010 Advocacy Initiative Teachers and programs need support now! ALL teachers and students can do something positive by adding their names to the growing list of "advocates for German" AND to urge their friends to join. No names will be used, just totals. Help us reach 10,000 supporters. Involve your students! Suggest that your students sign up. This Facebook group is not a blog, but rather a compilation of supporters, a PR tool, and a source of information for U.S. German learners and teachers. Make this a project for your classes with some type of small "reward" (free homework assignment credit, a pizza party, prize to the student who gets the most people signed up, etc.). Just think, if 3000 teachers each get 50+ students to register, we'd have over 150,000 supporters. Are you on Facebook? Link up as a Facebook friend of "Stand Up for German Learning by GLOW" and send it on to all of your Facebook friends. State that this issue is very important to you. It is easy to submit your name.
