| Body | Avant Assessment, partnered with the Center for Applied Second Language Studies (CASLS) at the University of Oregon, is a world leader in web-based second-language assessment. Founded in 2001, Avant Assessment has established a strong presence in the field of online second language assessment. Avant is currently working on a high level reading project in Portuguese. They have an ongoing need for native speakers of that language to help with the collection of authentic written material to use in the development of this test. If you participate in one or more of these projects, you will work from your home on your own equipment. You will need access to the internet, preferably a high speed connection. Avant provides paid training via the internet to help you understand the requirements and procedures you will follow. This is an excellent way to earn extra income from your home.
