| Body | From http://www.americancouncils.org/news/99/Chinese_Language_Pedagogy_Assessment_program American Councils for International Education is pleased to announce The Chinese Language Pedagogy Assessment program for the summer of 2010. American Councils seeks 12 U.S.-based Chinese language teachers and university pedagogy experts to travel to China in July, 2010 for this four-week seminar project and assessment mission. Through an exchange of presentations, discussion with faculty, classroom observation and curriculum unit development, participants will compare and assess centers of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL) in Beijing, Nanjing, Shanghai and Taiwan. All participants will receive: International roundtrip airfare All domestic travel in China and Taiwan All hotels and meals during the four week program overseas The deadline for applications is January 19, 2010.
