| Body | From: Elizabeth Hamilton Please do us the favor of forwarding this announcement to colleagues in your departments and in all foreign languages: Elizabeth Hamilton (German, Oberlin College), Ian Sutherland (Classics, Gallaudet University) and Tammy Berberi (French, U Minnesota, Morris) are pleased to announce DISFL, a new moderated listserv to encourage discussion and collaboration for greater inclusion of disabled students in foreign language classrooms and disability in foreign language curricula. List members are encouraged to post questions about inclusive teaching techniques, disability-related materials for any foreign culture, assistive technology, accessible study abroad, and any aspect of instruction, curriculum design, or advocacy that involves disability and foreign language. You may subscribe to disfl@oberlin.edu by sending a message to berberit@mrs.umn.edu requesting your subscription. Please indicate your full name and whether you would like to receive messages as they arrive or in digest form (a compilation of all messages received in a 24-hour period). |
