| Body | The 4th CCSU Conference for Language Teachers "A Colloquium: Purposes and Pleasures of Foreign Language Learning" Central Connecticut State University, New Britain, CT The conference will take place at the Institute for Technology and Business Development (ITBD) in New Britain, CT, on Saturday, March 13, 2010. One of the main goals of the conference is to promote cultural diversity and understanding. Language instructors at all levels are invited to submit proposals (150-200 words) for presentations or workshops in German or in English. Suggested topics include: * Language needs for different professions: translation and interpretation, tourism, community service, business, etc.; Promoting German in education and beyond; * Innovative approaches in German language teaching; * Cultural diversity and interaction; * Language and pleasure. Proposal form and submission requirements are available at http://www.modlang.ccsu.edu/html/Conference/Conf-inx.htm. Please fill out the proposal form and send it electronically to Dr. Ninon Larché (larchenin@mail.ccsu.edu) by Monday, January 25, 2010.
