| Title | STARTALK 2010 - Proposals Accepted Beginning This Week |
| Body | From http://startalk.umd.edu STARTALK is soliciting proposals for summer language programs from schools, post-secondary institutions, or community-based organizations to participate in the STARTALK project. STARTALK is part of a federal initiative to enhance the national capacity for critical need languages (Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Persian, Swahili, Turkish, and Urdu). The goal of these programs is to increase the number and expertise of students and teachers in these critical languages.
