| Body | From http://www.h-net.org/announce/show.cgi?ID=170385 The 48th annual meeting of the Southern Conference on Slavic Studies (SCSS) will take place in Gainesville, FL on March 25-27, 2010. The purpose of SCSS is to promote scholarship, education, and in all other ways to advance scholarly interest in Russian, Soviet, and East European studies in the Southern region of the United States and nationwide. Papers from all humanities and social science disciplines are welcome and encouraged, as is a focus on countries other than Russia/USSR.
